Debts may include credit card debts, mortgages, home equity loans, other loans, income taxes, etc.
The name on the bill, credit card, or on other debt does not matter.
The debt is still considered marital debt if the debt is incurred during your marriage.
Whether you come to an Agreement with your spouse or the court decides the issues for you, the marital debt will have to be divided in some way between you and your spouse.
